Index
College of Health and Welfare offers hands-on learning through hands-on classes and fieldwork that can be taken from the first year.
Students can freely choose from over 40 activity options across seven categories, deepening their interests and aptitudes while developing skills in demand in society.
Here, we introduce environments and activities that support such experiential and practical learning.
Experience a workshop in the "Basic Seminar"
The two majors, Mental Health and Welfare Studies and Practical Psychology, jointly held a "Sound and Movement Workshop." Through an experience of co-creating movement while respecting each individual's expression and utilizing the unique characteristics of the group, students learned important aspects of interpersonal support.

Community Contribution Through Sports Events
Associate Professor Wakamatsu, along with his students and alumni, are leading a Baseball5 trial event for local children, providing them with an opportunity to learn about ways to contribute to the community through sports.

Community interaction
Students who leave the university and engage in activities in their local communities

Student-run Kenpuku Cafeteria
This children's cafeteria is run by students and faculty members of this university. It serves as a place of coexistence where people from the local community can connect with each other, transcending generations, disabilities, races, and nationalities.

Invite the children to the university
I play with the children in the playroom. When I look where the children are looking, I can see into their hearts. The joy of connecting with their feelings is the foundation of childcare.

Overseas training
American Sports Training
During the training program, we learned about American sports culture and business. The photo shows us observing an American football practice at Georgia State University's facilities, and we also learned about Major League Baseball and professional golf.
