High school-university collaboration project

J. F. Oberlin University aims to promote mutual educational exchanges with high schools through high-school collaboration projects, broaden students' horizons, and enhance their awareness and motivation for future studies. Additionally, we deepen understanding of the student profiles and educational content sought by universities, while also working to revitalize high school and university education.

School visit

We accept requests for individual, school, and class-based tours. School tours held during the academic term offer an opportunity to see the daily life of university students, something you wouldn't see at an open campus event. For example, you can get a feel for the everyday atmosphere of the university, such as seeing students interacting with international students in foreign languages.

Advanced Placement

This system allows high school students to take university courses and receive credit for those courses after enrollment. Our university has an agreement with Kyorin University, so if you take courses at either university, you can receive credit from either one.

Prefectural High School Student Learning Activities Consortium

This is a consortium established by the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education. The aim is to expand collaboration between prefectural high schools, universities, junior colleges, vocational technical schools Major, and other educational institutions, companies, and research institutions, while enhancing various educational opportunities that lead to students' proactive learning, thereby contributing to the development of education and industry in Kanagawa. J. F. Oberlin University Participating in this consortium, we are engaged in various initiatives such as the "High School Student Support Project."

Non-degree students

Just like university students, credits are recognized based on exam and report results, and if you enter J. F. Oberlin University, you can count them toward graduation credits. The subjects available to students include languages such as Chinese, French, and Arabic, as well as a wide range of fields including welfare and the arts.
