フライト・オペレーションコースの学生が国内で学ぶ場所が多摩アカデミーヒルズ内にあるフライト・トレーニングセンター（以下FTC）です。ここで学生たちは海外訓練へ旅立つまでの基礎を磨きます。FTCには、授業を実施する講義室の他、FTD（Flight Training Device：飛行訓練装置）室、学生ラウンジ、自習室、教員室、事務室、そして本コースの宿泊施設があります。また、1年次には航空学群の基礎知識を他コースの学生と一緒に受講します。
In this environment, instructors with extensive experience in the aviation industry and diverse know-how in training and education will directly impart the skills of airmanship that cannot be learned from textbooks.
A fulfilling learning environment
多摩センター駅から徒歩約10分。緑豊かな多摩中央公園を抜けると、2023年春にオープンした新しい多摩キャンパスの建物が見えてきます。キャンパス内にはDA42、B737-800の FTD（飛行訓練装置）、A320APT（パネルトレーナー）、航空管制シミュレーターを備え、学習環境は充実しています。
A small-group education system that brings students closer to their teachers and peers.
College of Aviation is a small group with about 140 students per grade. Classes are divided into different courses, with many classes of fewer than 40 students, which brings faculty and students closer together. On campus, there are open lab/open seminar spaces where students can easily talk with each other or with faculty and students.

In a flight environment that closely resembles that of a real aircraft, trainees learn operational procedures and emergency response strategies through hands-on experience, acquiring the advanced operational skills and judgment required by airlines. -

The A320 Procedure Trainer (APT), located on the 3rd floor of the Lifting Hall, is a simulator that replicates the cockpit of an Airbus A320 aircraft. Students can experience actual flight procedures and instrument operation, practically developing not only piloting skills but also situational awareness and teamwork. -

Full-time residential program (Flight Operations Course)
The Flight Operations course is a full-time residential program spanning four years. This is because we want students to value the various valuable experiences they gain through living together with others.
Foster teamwork and build trust.
長く厳しい訓練を乗り越えていくためには、仲間と寝食をともにしながら、時に励まし合い、お互いを認め合っていく関係が欠かせません。パイロットになるためには多くのことを学び、多くのことを体験しなければなりません。限られた時間や状況の中いかに効率よく学んでいくかは、自分のみの知識や経験に頼ることなく、自分の経験を仲間に伝え、仲間の経験を自分のものにする、同期生全員によるチームワークにかかっているといっても過言ではありません。飛行訓練では、おのおのがそれぞれ異なった環境で飛行します。同じ経験はできなくても経験したことを伝えることにより、同様の知識や体験を共有することができます。
Communication skills required of a pilot
旅客機はパイロット2名で運航するのが基本であり、操縦室においては2名であらゆる状況の変化に対応しなければなりません。そこには意思の疎通やチームワークといった信頼関係が必須となります。また、パイロット間だけでなく整備士や管制官等、運航に関わる全ての人々と的確に情報交換ができるコミュニケーション能力が求められます。
Master "Airmanship"
In communal living, if someone is weak in a particular area, a classmate who excels in that area will help them. If a classmate is facing difficulties, someone who has overcome those difficulties will lend a hand. In this way, you can share valuable experiences that are only possible because you are all united by the same goals. You will gain various experiences while striving to improve together, and you will also acquire "airmanship," which cannot be learned from lectures or textbooks alone.
Introduction to the Tama Campus (FTC) student dormitory "Jijiryo" (Domestic Campus)
Students in the Flight Operations course stay in the course's accommodation facilities located on the Tama Campus during their time in Japan. They focus on their studies, spend time with their classmates, and hone their communication skills.
Cost: 840,000 yen (for 12 months)
*Includes utilities (water, electricity, gas), food (2 meals a day: breakfast and dinner), and management fees.
Rooms are shared by three people, and while bathrooms and toilets are shared, each individual's living space is separated by walls, ensuring privacy. Meals are provided twice a day, with a wide variety of options. In addition, laundry facilities are available free of charge (dryers are available for a fee), so you won't feel any inconvenience in your daily life. Living together in this environment provides a valuable experience where those who have overcome obstacles can lend a helping hand to those who are facing difficulties, creating an environment where people with the same goals can have a truly special experience.
