CAE Phoenix - Aviation Academyはアメリカ合衆国アリゾナ州メサにある「ファルコン･フィールド空港」内にあり、広大な敷地の中に近代的な設備と機材を備える日本航空、アメリカン航空や中国、ベトナムなどアジアの航空会社の自社養成訓練施設です。経験豊かなインストラクターが、世界中から集まってくる訓練生に対して、基礎から応用まで広範囲にわたって徹底した訓練を実施しています。

学生はCAEのインストラクターおよび本学教員の指導のもと、プロのパイロットを目指して充実した訓練を受けることができます。


アリゾナ州はアメリカ合衆国の西部に位置し、全体として昼と夜の寒暖の差が激しいことが特徴。メサはアリゾナ州中央部、東郊の都市。年間を通して温暖だが、夏（おおむね6月~9月）は日中40℃を超える気温になります。しかし、乾燥しているため過ごしやすいです。


The training equipment used will be Piper's Archer TX (single-engine aircraft) and Seminole (multi-engine aircraft), which boast excellent performance and reliability.

To create an environment in Arizona where you can learn with peace of mind, instructors with experience in pilot training serve as counselors, responding to all kinds of inquiries, from training and lessons to how to use facilities and daily life questions and concerns. 

Counselors understand each student's training and provide accurate advice according to the situation. Also, when students hit a wall during rigorous flight training, we work together to solve those problems. Additionally, liaison staff are stationed at the J. F. Oberlin University Flight Training Center within the training center to address daily questions about facility usage and daily life questions.

Arizona, a state in the western United States, has a mild climate throughout the year, but there is a large temperature difference between day and night, and daytime temperatures in summer can exceed 40°C. From the fall of the second year, students will live in apartment-style dormitories operated by the training facility. The dormitory is located about a 10-minute bus ride from the training center. Each room has a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, with two people sharing one bedroom and a shared bathroom and toilet. The dormitory also has a lounge, recreation room, and swimming pool, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for studying, and is conveniently located with a shuttle bus service to and from the training center. A shopping mall with supermarkets and restaurants is within walking distance, making it easy to cook your own meals.

Arizona is a vast state located in the western United States, with a total area of 113,998 square miles (approximately 29,000 km²). It is characterized by a climate with hot summers and mild winters, and boasts a high percentage of sunny days, making it an ideal environment for flight training. This state is blessed with exceptionally vast natural landscapes, including canyons such as the Grand Canyon, deserts, and forests. Its most striking feature is its awe-inspiring natural formations, including unusual geological features such as "natural waves." The state capital, Phoenix, is a high-tech industrial city with well-developed medical facilities. In terms of safety, while caution is needed regarding venomous creatures such as scorpions when visiting the natural areas outside the state, the training facilities provide an environment conducive to focused training and study. Furthermore, all travelers are required to have insurance from departure to return, ensuring peace of mind in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Students will take two courses, "Practical Overseas English" and "Fieldwork," at a partner institution in Seattle, a hub of the aviation industry. They will deepen their understanding of aviation-related operations through training at various airports and aviation facilities, such as Kenmore Air Harbor for seaplanes and Paine Field Airport, home to Boeing's delivery center. In the Air Traffic Control course (GreenRiverCollege), students will learn about the U.S. air traffic control system through simulator training. In the Aircraft Management course (EverettCommunityCollege), students will learn about the practical aspects of aircraft management through hands-on training using aircraft materials and lectures on aircraft manufacturing, airframe maintenance, and parts management. In the Airport Management course (Northwest University), students will visit the Port of Seattle, which oversees port and airport facilities, and regional airports to deepen their understanding of the role that transportation infrastructure plays in society.
