I want to be in a top-level environment.

I started playing American football when I entered high school. I had tried several sports before, but I was always interested in American football because it seemed like a sport where I could make use of my physical strength and speed. My high school team wasn't a top-tier team, but I enjoyed the thrill of hitting opponents and scoring points.

I wanted to play American football in college. Thankfully, I received offers from several universities, so I took my time to think about where I wanted to play.

Since I was going to play at a university, I wanted to be in a top-level environment. Each individual is at a high level, allowing them to focus on football. J. F. Oberlin University I thought I could aim to be number one in Japan, so I decided to enroll.

He contributes to the victory as a "high-earning receiver."

After enrolling, I felt the differences between high school and university in many ways. Unlike high schools that relied on individual physical strength, J. F. Oberlin University teams approach games with a well-planned game plan. Even when watching videos after matches, players discuss among themselves why they chose this play, highlighting the importance of student autonomy.

In American football, you can't win unless your offense scores. My position as a wide receiver requires me to communicate with the quarterback, who acts as the team's playmaker, and to accurately exploit the opponent's weak points in the offense. I want to catch any pass and produce results as a "scoring receiver."

Our current team goal is to be promoted to the "TOP 8" in the first division league. Regardless of grade level, everyone is practicing with a strong determination to make this year a success. Because we spend so much time together, there have been times when it was difficult to maintain high motivation. As one of the key players, I make an effort to keep our goals in mind by repeatedly communicating and confirming what needs to be done.

Commitment to achieving results

Ever since I started playing American football, I've been focused on getting results. While it's important to work hard in daily practice, you can't truly be appreciated without producing results. If you get results, you can contribute to the team's victory. Since I'm often selected as a starting player, I want to live up to expectations no matter what.

To repeat, I absolutely want to be promoted to the "TOP8" within this fiscal year. Otherwise, the goal of becoming "Number One in Japan," which I had set before enrollment, would become just another dream. Not just win, but J. F. Oberlin University want to see the aggressive side of the football club. I am grateful for the favorable environment and want to play with all my might so that I can receive support.
