Supporting students' dreams through various support systems.
A distinctive feature of College of Education and Social Transformation 's curriculum is that it is designed to broaden curiosity, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and cultivate the practical skills necessary to continue exploring into the future. With the keywords of 'enjoy' and 'try it first,' we offer a small-group, comprehensive seminar lasting four years.
One of the systems that supports this learning is the "Inquiry Support System." This system provides financial support for inquiry activities outside of class. Faculty and staff evaluate the inquiry plans created by students, and if the plan is deemed valid and feasible, they provide financial support to support these activities. The inquiry themes and projects covered are diverse, ranging from Events within the school to programs utilizing educational science, covering all fields.

Open-minded English conversation cafe: Preparation (preliminary research)

As preliminary research for conducting English conversation Events for high school students, we are exploring the question of "what makes it easy to speak in an environment" from three perspectives: spatial conditions, human scientific conditions, and systemic conditions.

We will investigate the "necessity of inquiry in compulsory education courses" and clarify the current state of inquiry education in Japan. Based on the survey results, we aim to clarify the significance of College of Education and Social Transformation and raise awareness throughout the academic community.
An exploration of the learning effects of napping.

This research aims to clarify the impact of napping on learning and improve the learning environment for university students. Based on the results, we are conducting inquiry-based activities with the goal of establishing a napping space within the PFC (Planner-Centered College).
Dialogue on enabling individuals to choose the accommodations they need in special needs education.
Takumi Fukui
We are conducting inquiry-based activities aimed at clarifying the need for dialogue to determine the degree and content of accommodations for children with developmental disabilities, and creating an environment where these children can choose their own learning methods and content.
