I absolutely love American football!

I was in the baseball club in junior high school, and started playing American football in high school. I had always been interested in American football because it allows you to use your physique to your advantage. At first, I was scared of contact plays like tackling and blocking, but as I became more and more successful with my strength, I became completely absorbed in the sport.

American football is truly a fun sport, and you rarely feel tired playing it. I wanted to continue competing with a strong university team, so I decided to enroll in J. F. Oberlin University, where I was playing in the top 8.

Contributing to promotion to the TOP 8, and being inspired by the selection process for the Japanese national team.

J. F. Oberlin University was demoted to the BIG8 the year before I enrolled. However, among the members, there are players with outstanding power and speed, and I felt the high level unique to university football. Thankfully, I was able to play in games from my first year and contribute to the team with QB sacks and lost tackles. I was happy to be promoted to the TOP8 together with my seniors.

A little while ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a practice session for the Japanese national American football team selection. Not only was the level of play impressive, but what all the players selected for the team had in common was a strong love for American football. Their overflowing passion motivated me to not be outdone.

I want to continue playing American football for as long as possible. After graduation, I'd like to play for a club team, and if I have the opportunity, I'd also like to try playing in the United States, the home of American football.

We will definitely win the Koshien Bowl.

The team's goal is to participate in and win the Koshien Bowl, the final match of the All Japan University American Football Championship. This year, we've reached the TOP 8, which is the starting line for becoming the best university team in Japan, so there's a good chance we can achieve that.

Having gained experience in exhibition games and other matches in the spring, I felt that we weren't necessarily losing in terms of the level of American football. We were able to score points well. However, it's also true that we lost games due to small mistakes made by individual players. To bridge the gap in fundamentals, we will train our physical strength and fundamentals during summer training camps and other activities.

We are working hard in practice with the goal of becoming number one. We will fight hard in each and every match with gratitude in our hearts. We appreciate your support.
