Management studies: deepening understanding through theory and practice
Shotaro Odabe
My interest in business administration stems from my parents, who run their own business. Initially, I wanted to gain knowledge that would be useful for taking over the family business in the future. However, as I deepened my studies, I realized that business administration encompasses not only company management but also organizational management and the optimization of resources from a financial perspective, offering many "ways of thinking that can be applied in life." Under Professor Sakamoto, I gained practical experience by tackling corporate challenges and considering and proposing solutions through case studies and group work, focusing on business strategy and marketing. I hope to utilize this learning to take over my parents' company in the future and grow it into an even better business.
