Curriculum

Four years to cultivate advanced skills and practical abilities

Over the course of four years, students will progressively develop their skills from foundational concepts to applied knowledge and then to practical application. In the first year, students will create their own "learning story" (learning plan) through foundational subjects such as academics, career development, and information literacy. In the second and third years, they will engage in specialized subjects, seminars, internships, and other practical subjects tailored to their future goals and interests, honing skills that can be utilized in the real world. In the fourth year, they will summarize their learning to date, aiming to become highly skilled business professionals through thesis writing and projects.

Year 1: Build a foundation and create your own "learning story."

This first year is dedicated to identifying the skills you need, while considering how you want to learn at university and what your future holds. Through foundational courses such as academic literacy, career design, and information literacy, you will understand how to learn at university and how it connects to society. While also considering obtaining qualifications and gaining overseas experience, you will design a "learning story" (a learning plan) tailored to your interests and goals, building a foundation for specialized learning.

Second and third years: Design your learning according to your future goals and interests, and cultivate practical skills.

From the second year onward, students choose a specialization from the "Business Program" and the "Management Program" according to their interests and future goals. This includes fields such as business management, marketing, tourism, and airlines.AreaIn addition, you will also learn Area skills in accounting, law, and information technology. In addition to lectures, students can start seminars and take business exercises from the second year, and through fieldwork and practical training courses, students gain hands-on knowledge while experiencing business environments.

This is the stage of developing expertise into application. Through research activities at seminars, collaborative projects with companies and local governments, and internships, students take on real-world business challenges. We also offer a wealth of opportunities for global practice, including domestic and international business training and long-term study abroad. We cultivate the ability to identify challenges independently, think as a team, and communicate results, which will lead to future career development.

Fourth year: Consolidate your learning and aim to become a highly skilled business professional.

Based on the knowledge and experience accumulated over four years, students will work on business reports, research reports, and graduation theses. They will cultivate the ability to connect theory to practical application in society and to structure their own thoughts. Through research presentations in seminars and proposals for collaborative projects with companies, students aim to become highly skilled individuals who can immediately contribute as valuable assets in the business world.

Practical seminars, practical training, and workshops begin in the second year.

Learning in each program

Two programs to help you create your own business career.

Meanwhile, the management program provides essential skills for business operations, including business strategy and management, accounting and finance, economics and law, and business information. By freely combining the two, students learn from both industry-specific and management perspectives, fostering the ability to forge diverse career paths.

Characteristics of the learning experience

What knowledge and skills are necessary to realize your dreams and goals? With guidance from your advisor, you will design your four-year learning program. You will select your courses from a total of eight subject groups, including the "Business Program" which focuses on learning about industries, and the "Management Program" which focuses on learning skills and functions.

Subject groupYou don't need to stick to just one program; you can freely and interdisciplinaryly study as long as you meet the required number of credits for each program.
