Accounting and Finance Subject Groups

Course group overview

This group of subjects cultivates the ability to interpret corporate management through numbers. Through accounting, finance, cost accounting, and other subjects, students acquire the knowledge necessary to understand the current state of an organization and make accurate management decisions. They can acquire practical skills that support the foundation of business, such as financial planning linked to management strategy, cost management, and investment analysis. By interpreting the health of a company through the analysis of financial statements and honing strategic thinking based on numbers, we cultivate individuals who can support the sustainable growth of companies.

Chihiro Iwakura
In this academic cluster, where you can experience business in general, I also studied a wide range of subjects including economics, management, and accounting. Among them, accounting caught my particular interest. It's interesting how you can see a company's business status and areas for improvement from the financial statement figures, and the more you learn, the deeper your understanding becomes. Aki Shinohara When I took the teacher's bookkeeping I class, I felt that 'studying is fun,' and I also found my goal to become a tax accountant. In the future, I want to acquire specialized knowledge about taxes and become a tax accountant trusted by many people.
