2. Curriculum Development and Implementation Policy

To achieve the learning outcomes outlined in the "Policy on Graduation Certification and Degree Awarding," this academic group has organized its curriculum into "Basic Education Subjects," "Specialized Subjects," and "Elective Courses," which grant credits for courses taken at other academic groups, other universities, and various skills examinations. Courses are offered using a combination of teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, experiments, practical training, and hands-on work. Furthermore, to systematize the curriculum, "numbering" (indicating the relationships and difficulty levels of each subject) is implemented to clearly show the structure of the subjects and facilitate systematic learning. In order to cultivate "highly skilled business professionals" who can thrive in various industries and occupations, this academic group effectively arranges subjects aimed at acquiring advanced academic abilities and specialized skills based on the following basic principles.

(1) Curriculum organization
① To cultivate internationally minded individuals, our faculty provides opportunities to study abroad through its unique four-month study abroad program and short-term overseas business training programs focused on specific themes. We also create a learning environment where students can develop a global perspective through their campus life. At the same time, we offer diverse learning opportunities to acquire language skills tailored to individual future plans, particularly English, the international common language of business.

② In order to acquire a sophisticated professional sensibility that blends a spirit of service with a spirit of hospitality, students will build a theoretical foundation through numerous lecture subjects, and then learn through practical experience using a wide range of practical training, exercises, and specialized seminars.

③ Courses go beyond one-way lectures by instructors, actively incorporating elements of active learning such as assignment report writing, student participation and presentations, group work, and flipped classrooms. "Specialized Seminars" provide opportunities for students to understand and practice leadership and followership through various student-led activities, fostering communication skills. At the same time, students can acquire information literacy skills such as information gathering, analysis, utilization, and dissemination by making full use of various information devices during their studies.

④ The curriculum is designed to provide a balanced learning experience that includes both business-relevant theory and practical management skills. In particular, it is structured to allow students to choose their own subjects to match their diverse future career plans.

⑤ In order to cultivate "highly skilled business professionals" who can thrive in a variety of industries and occupations, the curriculum is structured as follows:

The "Basic Education Subjects" are structured as follows:
a) "Department-Specific Subjects": These subjects cover the founding principles of the university and the fundamentals of university studies.
a) "Foreign Language Subjects": These subjects aim to help students acquire practical language skills (English) necessary in the business world. For English, the target achievement level upon graduation is a TOEIC® score of 600.
(c) "Guidance Subjects": These subjects aim to cultivate the fundamental academic skills necessary to fully absorb the course content of the academic group.

The "major subjects" are structured as follows:
a) "Basic Specialized Subjects": These subjects aim to improve the fundamental academic abilities in management necessary for acquiring specialized skills.
a) "Specialized Applied Subjects": To ensure that business professionals acquire a balanced set of specialized academic skills and abilities within a specific range, the subjects are broadly divided into business programs and management programs from the perspectives of knowledge and skills, industry and sector (business), and job type and function (management). Each of these is further divided into four types, resulting in a total of eight subject groups. c) "Practical Training and Exercise Subjects": These subjects aim to help students acquire practical skills for the business field.
E) "Thesis/Report Courses": These courses aim to develop the ability to write thesis from a research perspective or report from a business perspective as the culmination of learning outcomes. O) "Common Courses for All Groups": EachSubject groupThese are subjects common to all students (such as "Specialized Seminars" and "Special Lectures"). C) "BM Global Lounge Subjects": These are subjects related to the Global Cooperate Citizenship program in the Inbound section.

(2) Learning methods and learning process
① The "Applied Specialized Subjects" in this academic group consist of two programs: the "Business Program" and the "Management Program." The "Business Program" focuses on specific industries and sectors, making it suitable for students who have a strong vision of working in a particular industry or sector in the future. In contrast, the "Management Program" focuses on specific functions and job roles in management, making it suitable for students who envision working in a specific department of a company in the future, or for students who have not yet established their future career path.

② To meet the diverse future goals of students, we present various ways of taking courses in the form of numerous "learning stories."

(3) How to evaluate learning outcomes
① Learning outcomes are defined in the "Policy on Graduation Certification and Degree Awarding" and indicate the degree to which students have achieved the learning objectives set by each subject, as shown by the learning methods and learning processes (curriculum map, etc.). Therefore, learning outcomes are set for each individual subject.

② The syllabus specifically outlines the evaluation methods for each subject, detailing how learning outcomes will be assessed. Furthermore, by incorporating rubrics (tables consisting of evaluation criteria that show levels indicating the degree of success and characteristics of performance (presentations, collaborative work, etc.) corresponding to each level), we aim to make grade evaluation clear, transparent, and rigorous.
