While moving back and forth between university and society,
Learning to create your own future
College of Education and Social Transformation values "learning through experience." This structure connects learning in the 'foundational program' for acquiring theory to the 'practical program' that expands into society, deepening understanding. In project courses, students go outside the university to encounter diverse people and values, while cultivating expertise and a multifaceted perspective. Through activities in the real world, we grow ourselves and become people who support the growth of others. We aim to foster 'inquiry-oriented talent' who can contribute to society.

Flexible learning system
The system allows students to deepen their learning according to their interests by combining units (specializations). Students can choose the subjects they need to address local issues, support children and young people, or consider the growth of individuals and organizations, designing their own unique learning experience. A key feature is that combining units broadens perspectives and cultivates skills that will be useful in future career choices. Furthermore, the accumulation of chosen learning leads to acquiring qualifications that will benefit them in the future.
Through learning in education, society, and psychology, we can approach people and society from multiple perspectives.
Projects and seminars to understand the realities of society and consider future studies and careers.

Transforming a society facing complex challenges through "inquiry"
In this era of rapid change and uncertainty, society demands the ability to formulate questions and continuously explore. College of Education and Social Transformation provides the theoretical foundation for inquiry and practical learning with a view to application in society. Through "projects" that move back and forth between campus and society, students tackle real-world challenges. Students design their own learning from a variety of units, integrating theory and practice. We cultivate "inquiry-oriented individuals" who can support the growth of others and create new value.
