Tourism business research: Creating new travel experiences

Tourism is one of the businesses that is easily influenced by the times and social and economic conditions. In recent years, the global pandemic of COVID-19 has created new forms of travel. In this seminar, we will learn the methodologies of tourism research and, through activities such as creating tour plans and conducting research in tourist destinations, we will learn about the nature of "new tourism" that enriches local communities, people's lives, and tourists.

Furthermore, in order to acquire the specialized skills necessary for the travel business, I will aim to obtain the Comprehensive/Domestic Travel Business Manager qualification.

Learning points

Fieldwork: Experiences and research at tourist sites.
Interaction: Learning through communication with other students and local people.
Improved planning and presentation skills: Acquired through creating tour plans.
