Course group overview
We cultivate "aviation professionals" who will work in the aviation industry. This practical curriculum focuses on the aviation sector, covering both air transport and hospitality. Students aspiring to aviation-related professions such as cabin attendants and ground staff will learn about air transport, safe operation, customer service etiquette, and English communication under the guidance of experienced instructors. Through lectures, practical training, and exchange programs with companies that incorporate the latest industry trends, students will deepen their understanding of the field and develop the skills to become immediately valuable assets. We cultivate individuals who will support safety, reliability, and comfort as "aviation professionals."
*Students wishing to take seminars in the Airline Business subject group or to study abroad in Airline Hospitality must pass a selection process held from the fall semester of their first year onward.
Featured Classes
Internship
The "Air Transport Industry Internship" program offers 1-3 week internships during spring and summer breaks. Every year, with the cooperation of more than 10 companies, participants gain practical experience in areas such as passenger check-in, arrival baggage handling, and airline ticket reservations. *Please note that the number of participating companies may be reduced due to the COVID-19 situation, and some companies may not be able to participate at all.

Business training (airline)
This is a problem-solving class where students work in groups to consider and propose solutions to challenges presented by companies. In the first half, students will address a challenge from Japan Airlines' Singapore branch in English, and in the second half, they will tackle a challenge from ZIPAIR TOKYO.

Since childhood, I have admired the aviation industry and developed an interest in business administration during high school, so this academic cluster where I could study both aviation and management was ideal. In the Airline Business subject group, the teachers share insights gained from practical experience in the aviation industry. Mari Okajima In Professor Global's theory of liberal arts, I was taught that while studying world affairs and the SDGs, it is important to have an interest in everything and view society from a broad perspective. My dream is to use this learning to become a flight attendant who connects rural and urban areas.
