On Saturday, October 17th, nine third- and fourth-year College of Arts and Sciences students enrolled in the ECO-TOP program at the Machida Campus presented their achievements at the internship campus report meeting.

The "ECO-TOP Program" is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government program that cultivates individuals with broad knowledge and the ability to take action in the field of natural environment through university curricula and internships in three sectors: companies, NPOs, and government.

The students reported to guests, second-year students, and faculty members about the results of their internships lasting more than 10 days, their insights into the roles that companies, NPOs, and government agencies play in society, and the differences in approaches depending on their position.
Receiving feedback from representatives of the companies and organizations where we interned, as well as guests from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Environmental Bureau, gave us an opportunity to deepen our understanding of what we learned during the internship and to consider how we can utilize it in our future self-improvement and student life.

Third-year students are scheduled to participate in a joint reporting session at the end of November, which will be hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Environmental Bureau and co-hosted by other universities certified under the ECO-TOP program.
