On Sunday, July 26, the summer festival Events "Culture Festival 2026" was held at the Shinjuku Campus. This Events was planned and operated by "Buddy's," an officially recognized student organization at the Shinjuku Campus and mainly active in international exchange. On the day, about 1,200 people, mainly residents of the neighborhood, attended, and the event concluded with great success.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the community and all involved who cooperated in making this event possible.

\【Full Reveal! 】Buddy's Student Staff Events Behind-the-Scenes Log~/

Hello! We are Buddy's, an international exchange group active on the Shinjuku campus! We'll be sharing a timeline of our exciting day at "Culture Festival 2026," which was attended by approximately 1,200 people, from early morning preparations to cleanup!

🕖 07:00 | Gather at the still-quiet Shinjuku campus!

Buddy's members are gathering one after another! A bit of tension and the excitement of the Events we've been preparing so far are finally starting. We're going to make it the best day!

🕗 08:00 | Final decorations! The venue instantly becomes more vibrant!

Everyone split up and did the decoration work! We put up handmade posters and put up information boards. The venue kept getting more and more colorful, making it even more Events!

🕘 09:00 | Everyone transforms into yukata! Dressing complete!

Everyone looked great in their yukata, and the festive mood was instantly in full swing! With everyone excitedly exclaiming "Cute!" and "Cool!", the preparations were finally in the final stretch.

🕙 10:00 | The long-awaited donuts have arrived!

The donuts to be served at the booth have arrived at the venue! A sweet and delicious aroma is wafting through the air, making me want to eat one right away.... The venue is about to open!

🕚 11:00 | The venue is finally open! It's even more crowded than expected!

At 11:00, the Culture Festival began! As soon as the doors opened, far more people from the local community and children than we had imagined came!

🕛 12:00 | A huge success! "World Booth" and "Festival Booth"

The experience booths were a huge hit! From the world booth where you could enjoy time with international students to the festival booths where you could play games like candy cutting and shooting, it was so heartwarming to see the children's joyful smiles everywhere!

🕐 13:00 | Drawn in by the delicious smell, I headed to the food truck.

It's the time of day when you start to get hungry! Delicious aromas are wafting from the food truck area outside. Everything on the menu looks tempting, and it's hard to decide what to get...!

🕑 14:00 | The stage performance brings the venue's energy to its peak!

The afternoon stage events have begun! Each group delivered a breathtaking performance, uniting the entire venue in a frenzy of excitement. The applause and clapping were non-stop, and the energy was incredible!

🕒 15:00 | Everyone is smiling and heading straight to the prize corner!

The children, having enjoyed each booth, collected stickers and headed straight to the prize corner! Seeing their happy smiles as they showed us their prizes, saying things like, "I chose this!" and "It was so much fun!", made all the fatigue disappear.

🕓 15:30 | Finale! Buddy's final event

The fun time flew by. The event concluded with a special event by Buddy's with Bon Odori and dancing! Local children also participated. The Events we prepared was finally finished! It was heartwarming.

🕔 16:00 | Culture Festival ends & group photo

The Culture Festival ended at 4 p.m. At the end, everyone took a group photo! I'm glad we worked hard with these members for all the Events preparations up to this point!!

🕕 17:00 | Cleaning up with gratitude!

Finally, we all worked together to clean up! There was a little sadness, but we were also filled with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that we had done it all!
