Sakura Interns have been chosen to host a radio program!

Afternoon Tea+ (Plus) is a local information variety program presented by students, broadcasting real information from university students. The program features university students as radio personalities, providing authentic voices about university life in their own words.

Sakura Internship's activities include planning and managing open campus events and providing individual consultations. On social media, they share realistic information about university life with high school students, such as "What's in a university student's bag?", "What are university students' part-time job situations like?", and "What kind of bags are popular for commuting to school?".

 

Makiguchi, who will be hosting the radio show, said, "I have always valued 'words' in my activities, from studying communication studies at university to public relations work for Sakura Intern. In today's world, where words can become weapons on social media and other platforms, I believe that radio, where facial expressions cannot be seen, is the perfect opportunity to convey the sensitivity and greatness of words through voice and language, and to deliver a meaningful time that will make listeners think, 'I'll do my best tomorrow too.' Because 'words' will remain as long as people exist and times change, I would like to use this valuable opportunity to appear on the radio as a chance to reconsider the influence and weight of words."
