International Exchange

News

Learning together in the international community, transcending distance and culture.

Since its founding, J. F. Oberlin University has placed "understanding and learning together from different cultures and perspectives" at the core of its education, welcoming many international students and faculty from around the world every year. The environment is like an international community—lectures, clubs, seminars, and group work. On campus, you can see Japanese and international students actively interacting, constantly raising their horizons with each other. Of course, there are also various study abroad programs and student organizations for international exchange, and doors to deepen cross-cultural understanding are open throughout the university.

International Exchange Center

The International Exchange Center handles student dispatch and accepts students from overseas partner schools. The dispatch program includes short-term (2 weeks~1 month), mid-term (1 semester), and long-term (1 year), allowing students to study abroad for a period that suits their preferences. We offer a variety of programs including language learning, volunteering, and internships, so please feel free to consult with us.
Regarding accepting international students, about 900 international students from 181 partner schools in 14 countries study at our university, offering opportunities for cross-cultural exchange on campus. We also hold exchange Events with international students, so please be sure to join us.
