To fulfill their desire to learn, they went from working adults to high school students.

After graduating from junior high school, I started working as an adult instead of going to high school. I had always dreamed of a job that involved using my voice, so I honed my skills through voice training and made a living by doing narration work and helping out with my father's business, who was a company owner.

I decided to enroll in high school after becoming a working adult because I had always harbored a desire to learn. My job was fulfilling, but I had been interested in economics since childhood due to my father's influence, and I wanted to fully enjoy school events such as cultural festivals and sports days. It was also a big factor that my work schedule became manageable, allowing me to attend school from Monday to Friday. I enrolled in Yokohama Municipal Yokohama Comprehensive High School, and although I was older than most of my peers, I participated in club activities such as the singing club and the business qualification research club, and had a wonderful time.

I appeared in "The Life of a Pebble," a play performed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the school's founding.

Never give up on what you truly want to do.

Currently, I am working as the head of J. F. Oberlin University Choyer, which was the deciding factor in my admission to our university. This year, since the regular concert will be held for the first time in several years, we are practicing for the actual performance with 26 members—the largest number since COVID-19.

The charm of J. F. Oberlin University lies in the kindness of its people. I feel that the school culture is open to challenges, without prejudices or territorial boundaries, and welcomes challenges. Academically, I felt a sense of accomplishment by becoming number one in the world with the extensive reading program 'M-Reader.' I think it was the result of actively working learning beyond the assigned tasks. I have also become interested in overseas activities, and this summer, I plan to present as the university's representative at the 7th Japan-Mongolia International Symposium held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I still only have a vague idea of the future, but first, I want to challenge myself with what's right in front of me and what I truly want to do.

It's still too early to reflect on my own life, but I feel that all my experiences are connected. The work I gained as a working adult turned into club and club activities, and the work of my respected father became my College of Arts and Sciences education. There were doubts and conflicts, but I feel that it was precisely because I resolved and chose the difficult path that I gained something.

J. F. Oberlin University has the motto 'Learning and serving people.' It means "using what we have learned to benefit people and society," and I myself am always conscious of this phrase. J. F. Oberlin University has given me many opportunities, so I hope to give back even a little of my learning both inside and outside the university.

University life is always fun, but sometimes you may not even notice the privileged environment you are in. J. F. Oberlin University has many wonderful teachers and staff who understand the feelings of students. I am currently making the most of the J. F. Oberlin University 's 'major-minor system,' choosing linguistics and economics as my major, and museum studies, multicultural coexistence, regional design, and language education as my minor. It will be hard learning, but I believe that by taking action with just a little courage, the future will surely open up. Because I have experience as a working adult, I want to fully enjoy the learning I can only do now.

After gaining experience as a working adult, he went on to high school and university. Currently, I belong to College of Arts and Sciences and make the most of the 'major-minor system,' studying a wide range of fields with two majors and four minors. He also serves as the manager of Obirin Choir.
