Qualifications: Certified Health Psychologist, Certified Clinical Psychologist; Social skills training, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, touching, coaching, etc.
This corresponds to the certification of a [Specialized Health Psychologist] by the Japanese Society of Health Psychology.
It is possible to obtain the qualification to take the 'Specialist Health Psychologist' exam. Area involving "Specialist Health Psychologists" include cultivating knowledge and attitudes related to healthy living in schools, health management and promotion for local residents and disease prevention, stress management for workers, appropriate responses to patient psychology, and health guidance for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Through field training, you will learn practical support practices in these Area.
Corresponds to the national qualification [Certified Clinical Psychologist]
Those who have completed the undergraduate curriculum for certified psychologists, and who meet certain conditions after enrollment and complete the required courses, will be eligible to take the examination. Practical training for certified psychologists is mainly conducted at external facilities related to three of the five fields designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare: health care, welfare, education, justice/criminology, and industry/labor, including the mandatory health care field. The certified psychologist curriculum in the field of positive psychology cultivates not only the ability to provide psychological support to individuals and their families, but also the ability to conduct group education that emphasizes prevention related to mental health.
