Three policies

It is recommended to take early courses in psychological statistics that study quantitative analysis related to research methodology and courses that study qualitative analysis methods. The clinical psychology field cultivates practical skills based on a curriculum for obtaining certified psychologist and clinical psychologist qualifications. In the field of positive psychology, there is a mandatory unit called "Foundations of Positive Psychology" for all students, along with three selectable units: "Health Psychology," "Body Psychology," and "Positive Organizational and Coaching Psychology." A practical educational curriculum is provided that allows students to obtain qualifications as certified psychologists or professional health psychologists through these units. As a place to cultivate practical skills essential for obtaining each qualification, an environment is provided for practical training across five Area: healthcare, education, welfare, industrial labor, and judicial correction. Additionally, for clinical psychologist training, a 'Clinical Psychology Center' is established, allowing students to receive practical consultations from outside and experience real clinical situations during their studies. In addition to lectures on specialized psychology Area, practical and seminar courses are offered as key training subjects for training supporters to acquire practical skills, and the curriculum is organized so that students can thrive as certified psychologists, clinical psychologists, and specialized health psychologists.

社会や組織における個人の理解や心身の健康に関する基礎知識や心理学研究法の修得を目指しつつ、心身の不調に対する支援だけでなく、自己理解による自己実現や健康を維持・増進するための支援も重視した、臨床心理学的視点とポジティブ心理学的視点を２ つの柱とする、より具体的な理論やスキルを修得できるような、社会貢献を目指した実践の学として心理学を位置づけた教育課程を編成している。



The curriculum emphasizes practical education with numerous practical training and seminar courses, while also incorporating various advanced theoretical courses to enable learning and research activities that are grounded in theory and applied to practice. By including courses that allow for the examination of the diverse psychological challenges faced by individuals living in an increasingly complex society, the curriculum provides a research environment that can accommodate a wide range of research topics.

「専攻演習」は、研究指導を受ける教員のもとで、修士論文もしくは研究成果報告を完成させるための演習科目として置き、学生がより主体的に研究に取り組めるよう、担当教員は論文等の指導を行うほか、学生の履修科目担当教員とも情報を共有し、学生の研究活動へのアドバイスを行う。



The master's thesis is conducted through academic efforts such as researching previous studies, setting an original theme, and collecting relevant materials. The research results report emphasizes practical aspects, and the paper is written as a practical work paper centered on a case study related to the student's work. Both are reviewed by the examination committee after an interim presentation and a final examination, and evaluated in accordance with the "Policy for Completion Certification and Degree Awarding" of this degree program.
