[Review System]
The Psychology Practice Research Degree Program involves a thesis review and oral examination, conducted by an examination committee consisting of the supervising professor as the primary examiner and two other faculty members as secondary examiners.
The thesis examination will be conducted through oral examinations in both the interim and final stages, focusing on matters related to the submitted thesis.

[Evaluation items]
・Master's thesis
1. Is the logical development sound?
2. Does it have social significance?
3. Does it have originality and novelty?
4. Are there provisions for adherence to research ethics?
5. Psychological papers should ideally be verifiable studies based on logical and objective evidence; therefore, literature reviews and systematic reviews are generally not considered master's theses.
・Research results report
The research results report will be evaluated by a review committee consisting of the supervising professor as the main examiner and two other faculty members as co-examiners, in accordance with the evaluation criteria for the master's thesis, but the following items will also be considered when determining whether to pass or fail.
1. Is the research topic clear and does it have academic or practical significance in the field of psychology?
2. Is prior research being reviewed in accordance with research guidance, and are research results being accumulated systematically?
3. Does it include the ability to solve research problems and its uniqueness?

[Evaluation Criteria]
・Master's thesis
A thesis that meets all of the above evaluation criteria must be approved as a master's thesis or research report after a final examination attended by the applicant.
・Research results report
A thesis that meets all of the above evaluation criteria will be approved as a master's thesis or research report after a final examination attended by the applicant.
