Entertainment Research Lab for Attracting Customers (Yamaguchi Seminar)

Entertainment business research through user behavior observation and data analysis

In business, we explore customer acquisition techniques to attract customers, draw in large numbers, and cultivate repeat business. This is achieved through original data collection and analysis, such as behavioral observation, that focuses on the target "people." Research is conducted independently, with students setting their own themes based on their interests.
For example, we conduct research on a wide range of topics including theme parks, movies, music concerts, idols, television, dance, anime, K-POP, spectator sports, theme cafes, and theme hotels.
Furthermore, I have a close relationship with my classmates, seniors, and juniors in the seminar, and we have built strong bonds.

Instructor

Instructor Yuji Yamaguchi
Message from the instructor We collect and analyze unique data on our favorite entertainment businesses—theme parks, music, movies, anime, concerts, idols, games, and more—to make surprising discoveries and propose new business management methods. The enjoyment of this research is itself a form of entertainment. Furthermore, we implement projects to create new forms of entertainment, learning about business experientially.
