Airline and Hospitality Research Laboratory (Fujita Seminar)

Fun and engaging learning in the Airline and Hospitality Research Lab (Fujita Seminar)

The Fujita Seminar operates under the motto of being cheerful, positive, serious, and proactive.

Through the JAL Philosophy, we aim to cultivate our humanity, foster gratitude, an appreciation for the importance of colleagues, personal growth, and become individuals who can contribute to society.

Furthermore, as part of regional revitalization efforts, we are implementing the "Kikonai Project" in Hokkaido. We actually visit the site to experience the charm of Kikonai with all our senses and are working to revitalize Kikonai as a new tourist destination.

Learning points

  1. Learning about how to live as a human being from the JAL Philosophy

Instructor

Instructor Katsumi Fujita
Message from the instructor As a way of giving back to the company that has supported me for so long, I am sowing the seeds for the future with the motto of "sending as many students as possible into the aviation industry." It is an unexpected joy when my students join my alma mater, but it is also very rewarding to see graduates succeeding in rival companies or in the travel industry. Students in the Fujita Seminar are all like this: they have beautiful hearts, they work as a team with their peers, they pass the baton perfectly from senior to junior, they are always cheerful and energetic, and they are humble and not arrogant.

Voices of seminar students

  • Every year, many of our seminar students find employment in the aviation industry, which really demonstrates the high level of our job placement record.
  • With extensive experience at JAL & JALPAK, he has a wide network of contacts and is a teacher who will listen to any advice you have. Furthermore, he possesses a childlike spirit, a strong core, and loves music (choir, Shine's) and puns.
