J. F. Oberlin University Recruitment for the 2nd cohort of the "Inquiry Collaborator Certification Training Bridge," which accelerates collaboration between high school teachers and diverse external talent! (With activity funding support) With ongoing support from the Mitsubishi Mirai Development Foundation, the second phase has been decided to start.

In the practice of "inquiry-based learning" in high schools, the learning environment for high school students is connecting from the school to society, and high school teachers are increasingly having opportunities to create inquiry-based learning programs in collaboration with diverse external personnel.

J. F. Oberlin University (Machida City, Tokyo; President Hiroaki Hatayama) has established the "Bridge" certification training program in 2025, where high school teachers and diverse external personnel create new inquiry collaboration programs through nine months of training and collaboration. Following the first phase, which produced 48 certified inquiry collaborators with ongoing support from the Mitsubishi Mirai Development Foundation, the second phase of the teacher training and instructor development program enabling proactive and collaborative learning will begin.

 

This is a nine-month practical training program centered on face-to-face exercises held at the J. F. Oberlin University Shinjuku Campus from August 11 to 13, 2026. Participants can earn certification as "Inquiry Collaborators" by implementing the new inquiry collaboration program generated through the training in high school settings and attending certification report meetings.
