[Library Events! ] Kazusui Ogawa, Japan SF Award winner× Former SF magazine editor talks about 'The Gateway to SF'

This time, we are pleased to welcome two up-and-coming guests who are at the forefront of the Japanese science fiction world. First, there is Kazusui Ogawa, a science fiction author with numerous representative works, including the Seiun Award for "The Sixth Continent" and the Japan SF Grand Prize for "The Sign of Heaven and Hell." And second, there is Yoshihiro Shiozawa, Senior Editor at Hayakawa Publishing (former editor-in-chief of SF Magazine), who has been in charge of many of Mr. Ogawa's masterpieces.

In Book Events, we will focus on the masterpiece 'The Drifting Man' (included in 'Old Vole's Planet'), which won first place in the domestic edition of the 2005 'Best SF 2005' as a challenged book.

- Kazusui Ogawa (Author): Born in 1975. After his debut in 1996, he has received numerous awards and high acclaim.

- Yoshihiro Shiozawa (Senior Editor, Hayakawa Publishing): Former editor-in-chief of SF Magazine, responsible for editing works such as Ogawa's "The King of Time Sand" and "The Sign of Heaven and Hell."

• Required reading: "The Drifting Man" (included in "Old Vol's Planet" by Kazusui Ogawa)
