An exhibition of shapes seen through the hands.

Works of art crafted from a variety of materials: marble, bronze, wood, plaster, and more.

In this exhibition, people who are blind, visually impaired, or sighted can all experience all the artworks.

Through the "hands-on" experience of nine artists, enjoy the temperature, texture, and unique presence of three-dimensional sculptures.

The artist themselves will talk about their work. You can hear directly from the creator about the background and process of creation, and what they would like you to pay attention to.

We will be conducting an interactive art appreciation session led by "A-chu-bi," an organization that connects diverse generations with art.

♠ Film Screening: "The World You Can Touch with Your Hands"

Aldo Grassini and his wife, Daniela Bottegoni, are visually impaired and live in the Marche region of Italy. Having experienced the inability to appreciate art in museums no matter which country they visited, they founded the Omero Tactile Museum, where visitors can experience sculptures by touch. This documentary chronicles their friendship with the late sculptor Giuliano Vangi, who donated works to the museum, and the rare practice of tactile art in Japan. Through the expansion of their activities and the daily life of the museum, it introduces the possibilities of the act of "touching."

♠ Workshop: "Fragments of Sound - Connecting Hands, Eyes, and Ears"

Through the artwork "Fragments of Sound," which involves cutting iron plates into irregular shapes, we will explore the material of "iron."

In this workshop, we will listen to the sounds of iron of various sizes and explore the process by which sound develops into music and new forms of expression. Let's become one with the artwork and discover the properties of iron through the act of making sound.
