Following last year's success, the musical OPAL "I Want to Stand on Stage" will once again feature a new cast selected through auditions this year.
<Synopsis>
Miyuki, Izumi, and Nana aspire to become musical actresses. The three met while dreaming of performing on stage, and they encourage each other, sometimes clashing, as they pursue their individual dreams. However, auditions, romance, setbacks, and life choices—over the course of 10 years, the paths the three walk gradually begin to change.
This Off-Broadway-style musical comedy depicts the friendship and life changes of three women with laughter and tears. Three musical actresses sing, dance, and act nonstop for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
As I watched, laughing along, I gradually began to relate to their lives, and in the end, tears welled up in my eyes.
What kind of "stage" will these three people, who all dreamed of performing on stage, find in their own lives?
