Main content

We will be holding a screening of the documentary film "The Collectors" and a lecture by researchers.

This film uses a unique visual style to depict the lives of people in Israeli-occupied Palestine who, despite having the gathering of wild plants made illegal under the pretext of "nature conservation," continue to protect their traditional food culture and the dignity of their way of life.

Following the screening, we will invite Palestine studies scholar Yukie Tamura to explain the background of the film and the concept of "cultural erasure" under occupation. Please join us for this opportunity to learn about the realities and daily lives of people living under occupation and deepen your understanding.
