The type of person we aim to cultivate
This is the only program of its kind among graduate schools in Japan, aiming to cultivate highly skilled professionals and researchers with the specialized knowledge and abilities to realize broader social participation for the elderly.
The various social problems arising from the declining birthrate and aging population can no longer be solved by a single academic discipline alone. Through interdisciplinary learning that encompasses not only medicine, nursing, and social welfare, but also social sciences such as psychology, sociology, and economics, we cultivate individuals who will play a leading role in promoting the practice and research of multidisciplinary collaboration.
