Research student system

The research student program is a system in which students enroll with the aim of conducting their own research, preparing for admission to the university's graduate school, or obtaining a graduate degree from the university, and receive research guidance from faculty members in charge of graduate studies at the university.

About the research student system

  1. Students can receive research guidance from their supervising professor within the relevant graduate school.
  2. This grants eligibility to submit papers to the journal of the relevant graduate school.
  3. You can use the seats and lockers in the shared research room.
  4. In principle, students can use the university's educational and research facilities, such as the library.
  5. You can get a student ID card.
  6. Research students must submit a written research plan outlining their research activities for the period they will be undertaking during their initial consultation and application.
  7. Research results must be submitted in writing by the end of the enrollment period.
  8. Those deemed unsuitable as research students at this university may lose their eligibility even during their enrollment period.
  9. The network access account you currently possess as a regular student of this university will be deleted, and a new account will be provided.
  10. If the supervising professor deems it necessary for the research, they may allow the research student to attend classes with the approval of the course instructor. In this case, the research student will not be able to earn credits for the course.
