Degree Program in Higher Education Administration Practice Research (Correspondence Education Course)
Diploma Policy
大学アドミニストレーション実践研究学位プログラムは、大学の行政・管理・運営にわたる専門的知識・能力を有する大学経営の専門家（大学アドミニストレーター）のほか、大学経営層や大学教員、国や地方の高等教育政策担当者、その他高等教育関係の各種専門家の養成を目指す。
本大学院の「修了認定・学位授与の方針」に基づき、所定の在学期間と単位数34単位以上を満たし、修士論文もしくは研究成果報告の審査及び最終試験に合格した者で、かつ大学の行政・管理・運営にわたる専門的知識・能力を修得した者に修士（大学アドミニストレーション）の学位を授与する。

Curriculum Policy
Based on the graduate school's "Curriculum Design and Implementation Policy," "Specialized Seminar" and "Higher Education Research and Analysis Methods" are mandatory courses, fostering research capabilities in the field of university administration.
Furthermore, students select courses from the following units: "Fundamentals of Higher Education Research," "History and Comparison of Higher Education," "Higher Education Policy and Systems," "General Principles of University Management," "Specific Topics in University Management ①," "Specific Topics in University Management ②," and "Student Support." This allows them to cultivate the expertise necessary to assume highly specialized professions and acquire the specialized skills they wish to deepen their understanding of by taking courses related to the fields they wish to explore further.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with the fundamental theories and knowledge essential for university management, which are indispensable for training administrators and other professionals with specialized knowledge and skills in university administration, management, and operation. It also provides practical skills such as gaining an international comparative perspective. Online classes are conducted simultaneously, and the on-campus sessions held in August and January at the end of each semester (excluding some intensive courses) are designed to go beyond lectures and encourage active and practical research activities such as group discussions and presentations.
Furthermore, the "Specialized Seminar" is a course designed to help students complete their master's thesis or research report under the guidance of their research advisor. To enable students to engage in research more proactively, the instructor provides guidance on theses and other research matters, and also shares information with the instructors of the students' other courses to provide advice on their research activities.
Furthermore, to facilitate learning for working adults and other students, online synchronous, interactive classes and instruction are provided, making it possible to enroll from anywhere in the country.

① Characteristics of the curriculum
「高等教育研究基礎」「高等教育の歴史と比較」「高等教育政策・システム」「大学マネジメント総論」の各ユニットに属する科目群は、高等教育、大学経営に関する基礎的な理論と知識の修得を目的にした科目を配置して、バランスの取れた履修ができるようにしている。また、「大学マネジメント各論①」「大学マネジメント各論②」「学生支援」の各ユニットに属する科目群は、高等教育研究や高度職業人としての大学職員の専門性を高めるための科目を置いている。② Educational methods and implementation system
With the exception of some intensive courses, learning will primarily be self-study using distributed materials and study guides. ③ Evaluation of learning outcomes and research results
The master's thesis is conducted through academic efforts such as researching previous studies, setting an original theme, and collecting relevant materials. The research results report emphasizes practical aspects, and the paper is written as a practical work paper centered on a case study related to the student's work. Both are reviewed by the examination committee after an interim presentation and a final examination, and evaluated in accordance with the "Policy for Completion Certification and Degree Awarding" of this degree program.Admissions Policy
