Overview

The Sagamihara Campus, located adjacent to the north exit of Fuchinobe Station on the JR Yokohama Line, has a bus stop connected to the station building by a pedestrian deck and also serves as a departure and arrival point for school buses to the Machida Campus. It is the main campus for College of Education and Social Transformation which opened in April 2023.

*Name changed from Planet Fuchinobe Campus (PFC) in April 2026.

Facility Introduction

【1F】PF100

This is the largest classroom on the Sagamihara campus, accommodating up to 200 people. It was originally a large hall that was renovated.

The museum displays a full-scale replica of the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa," as well as paintings by Masuo Ikeda. You can also see students playing the piano during lunchtime.

Located on the first floor of the campus, this space was created at the students' suggestion as a place to foster communication among students.

It is primarily used as a study room. You can study in a quiet environment or spend your lunch break here.

This room, nicknamed the "Forest Room," is designed with a forest theme. Shoes are not allowed inside due to the carpeted floor. It is primarily used for student interaction.

Teaching assistants and student assistants are stationed on-site, and you can consult them about course content, assignments, and research topics. You can also use the service desk to request books from the Machida campus.
