Mongolia photo exhibition to be held November 10–14

J. F. Oberlin University students who participated in the Mongolian Environmental Study Tour and students in the Mongolian Study Society of the College of Arts and Sciences will hold a photo exhibition to publicize the natural beauty of Mongolia and the threats to the environment there.

The Mongolian Environmental Study Tour is one of the university’s study abroad programs. It includes research study and a visit to Mongolia, providing students with an understanding of the country through cross-cultural experiences. The photo exhibition with the students’ works was also held at elementary and middle schools in Mongolia this past summer.

Japanese students and Mongolian students at J. F. Oberlin University participate in the Mongolian Study Society to study ethnicity and culture not only in Mongolia but also throughout Asia and the world. This exhibition is one of their undertakings.
