The next lecture in the English Language Program Lecture Series, entitled “Olive Oil: Production and Tasting,” will be delivered on December 18 by Wayne Iwaoka, a visiting professor from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Professor Iwaoka will explain how olive oil differs from other plant-based oils. He’ll also talk about production methods through the ages and take a look at how it is produced today. A tasting of three different varieties of olive oil will begin at 5:50, with the lecture itself starting at 6:00.

Students, faculty, staff, and any other interested people are all welcome to attend.
