Chancellor Satow receives award from Tianjin Foreign Studies University

Toyoshi Satow, Chancellor of J. F. Oberlin University and Affiliated Schools, received the “Tianjin Foreign Studies University Outstanding Contribution to International Exchange Award” at the end of October. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, and the university bestowed the award on people who have made outstanding contributions in the field of cultural and educational exchanges between Japan and China.

J. F. Oberlin University and Tianjin Foreign Studies University signed a partnership agreement in 2007. Since then, the two universities have been working together on many projects, including exchanging students, holding a summer camp in China, and hosting a Beijing opera performance by J. F. Oberlin students.
