There are many young people who wish to study in Japan - to study in Japan, experience Japanese culture, and live in Japan. But how can you study in Japan? Our job is to support you in realizing your dreams. We support you from the very beginning of your desire to study in Japan. It is a long road to think seriously about studying in Japan, to start the preparation, and finally to enter the school of your choice. We will walk that long road with you and support you along the way. We provide detailed support for students in preparation for coming to Japan, life after coming to Japan, study at our Institute, choosing a specialty for higher education, searching for a school, preparing application documents, and so on. For students who wish to enter graduate school, guidance in contacting academic advisors and writing research plans is also essential.

Institute for Japanese Language and Culture is a part of J. F. Oberlin University. Students have access to all the same student services as undergraduate and graduate students, including library and Internet access. There is also a recommendation system for on-campus advancement.

J. F. Oberlin University's Special Program for International Students was established in April 2005 and opened in September of the same year. So far, we have welcomed many international students from China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), Korea, India, Thailand, Myanmar, the United States, Spain, Peru, Vietnam, Germany, Mongolia, and other countries.

Students can study Japanese language and culture and at the same time learn the knowledge necessary to study the specialized field they wish to pursue. In addition, students can improve their ability to adapt to the living and studying environment in Japan while studying at the Institute for Japanese Language and Culture so that they can smoothly progress in their specialized fields of study at universities and graduate schools.

The Institute for Japanese Language Culture is the first step in your dream of studying in Japan, but it is a very important step. We hope to walk this important step with you as a good supporter.
