Sakura Kiryu (College of Health and Welfare 4th year)
I switched to beach volleyball last September.
The staff and friends answered my desire to take on the challenge without a single complaint,
Now, I'm able to take on beach volleyball like this.
There were many hardships, including beach volleyball, but I practiced with all my might every day with my pair of girls,
We strive to improve each other and spend fulfilling days every day.
I plan to aim for a podium finish at the All Japan Intercollegiate Championships and see it through to the end.
Seeing our indoor friends working hard motivates us to keep pushing ourselves without losing out.
We look forward to your continued support.
Rin Ichikawa (College of Arts and Sciences 3rd year)
Since the year before last, I've been seriously going to the beach for the first time, and this time I want to aim for the podium.
This year marks my second year at the beach, so I aim for top finishes in both NEXT and the All-Japan Intercollegiate Championships,
I'll do my best to achieve results that rival indoor workouts!!
Thank you for your support.
We have been mainly active in beach volleyball since last year.
Since our university does not have a dedicated beach volleyball practice facility, we travel to places like Kugenuma Beach to practice every day.
Furthermore, many tournaments are held in regional areas, and travel expenses, accommodation costs, and tournament participation fees are all the responsibility of the participant.
While balancing athletics and academics, there were times when financial reasons forced me to give up participating in competitions I wanted to compete in.
We are currently running a crowdfunding campaign.
The support we have received from everyone is,
• Fees for using practice facilities
・Transportation and accommodation expenses during away games
・Convention participation fee
We will make good use of these resources to create an environment where athletes can concentrate on their sport.
We will never forget our gratitude to everyone who has supported us, and we will give our all to achieve even greater success at the national tournament.
Your warm support and encouragement will be a great source of strength for the players.
We would be grateful for your support through crowdfunding and your help in spreading the word about this project.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
