01: Obirin's position
Our university's soccer club is affiliated with the Tokyo University Soccer Federation.
The Tokyo Metropolitan University Football Federation consists of Division 1 (12 teams), Division 2 (12 teams), and the Challenge League (16 teams), and this team belongs to Division 1.
The league is played in a round-robin format, consisting of two seasons: the first half (May-June) and the second half (September-October).
The top two teams in Division 1 are given the opportunity to be promoted to Division 2 of the Kanto University Football Federation. The top two teams in Division 2 are given the opportunity to be promoted to Division 1, and the top two teams in the Challenge League are given the opportunity to be promoted to Division 2. Promotion is decided based on a rigorous review that considers not only wins and losses, but also the quality of match management throughout the season, including playoff matches, and whether the teams met the requirements of the Tokyo University Football Federation.

02: Rules
A long-term tournament where league matches are held throughout the year.
University soccer matches consist of a 45-minute first half, a 15-minute halftime, and a 45-minute second half.
If a match is temporarily stopped due to injury or other reasons, the time spent stopping will be added to the match duration as "stoppage time."
Soccer is a sport in which two teams compete to score the most goals.
Goals are set up at both ends of the field, and a point is scored by getting the ball into the opponent's goal. According to the official rules, a team can have 11 players on the field at the same time.
A double rectangular line is drawn around the goal, and the area inside the outer line is called the "penalty area." Within this penalty area, only the goalkeeper, who is the only one on each team, is allowed to use their hands.
All play takes place within a rectangular field divided by straight lines. If the ball goes out of bounds, play is stopped, and play resumes when the opposing team gets the ball back into the field.
The line drawn perpendicular to the goal is called the "touchline," and if the ball goes out of bounds from here, it's called a "throw-in." The game restarts when the ball is thrown back in from the point where it crossed the line. The line behind the goal is called the "goal line," and if the ball goes out from here, the restart procedure changes depending on whether a defending or attacking player threw the ball out. If a defending player throws the ball out, it becomes a "corner kick," where an attacking player kicks the ball in from one corner of the field. If an attacking player throws the ball out, it becomes a "goal kick," where the defending goalkeeper kicks the ball forward.

Starting this season, we have welcomed a new coach and are now active as the 'Shinsei J. F. Oberlin University Athletic Soccer Club.'
Last season was a year marked by issues such as many goals conceded, slow decision-making, and lack of stamina, but to improve these issues, starting this season we have worked hard to improve individual skills, strengthen tactics, and physical attributes, and become a more competitive organization. We have also signed a partnership agreement with the Verdy Beach soccer team and are practicing on the sand ground, working on multiple aspects to strengthen our physical abilities.
Their goal this season is to advance first in the Challenge League and be promoted back to the second division of the Tokyo Metropolitan University Soccer League.
