[Comment from 4th Year, Ichika Miyazaki]
Thank you always for supporting the J. F. Oberlin University girls' volleyball team.
This tournament was the first national tournament for the Miyazaki-Ichikawa pair.
There were many tough moments, but there were matches where we helped each other and managed to win.
However, in the quarterfinals, we felt our true strength in the match, including our ability to succeed and our finishing was insufficient, leaving us deeply frustrated.
But at the same time, it was a match where we saw what we needed to do.
At the championship in August, we will switch our mindset and work hard to achieve our goal of becoming number one in Japan.
We appreciate your continued support for the girls' volleyball team.
[Comment from 2nd Year Rin Ichikawa]
I started playing beach volleyball last year, and I'm so happy to be able to compete on such a big stage as a national tournament for the first time—I've had so many experiences!!
Even against opponents for the first time, we were able to at least turn around with our serve, our weapon, and demonstrate the results of our practice!
We were able to bring things into our own rhythm. In the quarterfinals, I felt it was a game where the difference in beach experience at the end really showed.
The result was a good result, tied for 5th place, but I want to keep practicing so I can still improve my level for the All-Japan Championships!
Thank you for your support!
