Study Abroad Information

2020

In the spring semester of the 2020 academic year, the following one student studied abroad at Tennessee State University Chattanooga in Tennessee, USA, through our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program).
These students join American students in daily team practice after class and also accompany weekend away games to gain experience and match results.

2017

In the spring semester of the 2017 academic year, the following two students studied abroad at Humboldt State University in California and Tennessee State University Chattanooga in Tennessee through our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). The two students join American students in daily team practice after class and also accompany them in away games on weekends to gain match experience.

2016

In the spring semester of the 2016 academic year, the following four students studied abroad at Humboldt State University in California, USA, through our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). Two students join American students in daily team practice after class and also accompany them to away games on weekends and other occasions.

Catcher: Eigo Hiraoka (1st year, from Yokohama Commercial University)
Infielder: Eito Tanaka (1st year, from Yokohama Commercial University)
Outfielder: Taiki Nomura (1st year, from Seikogakuen High School)
Outfielder: Takumi Oki (1st year, from Tokai University Sugao)

2015

In the spring semester of the 2015 academic year, the following two students studied abroad at Humboldt State University in California, USA, as part of our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). The two participate in daily team practice after class alongside American students and also accompany students to overseas games on weekends.

Pitcher: Takamasa Fujii (1st year, from Horikoshi High School)
Infielder: Junya Matsui (1st year, from Tokai University Shoyo High School)

2011

In the fall semester of 2011, for the third consecutive year, two students studied abroad at Colorado State University in the United States through our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). In the United States, there is an annual tryout to join the university, and two students were selected by the Colorado State University baseball team, the Rams, along with American students, and were accepted. The Rams were a powerhouse team in the 2010 NCBA National Champions, and students participated in daily practice with a certain team after class and also played away games on weekends.

Pitcher: Takeshi Harashima (1st year, from Obirin High School)
Catcher: Wataru Morisaki (1st year, from Tokai University Shoyo High School)

2010

In the fall semester of the 2010 academic year, following last year, the following three students studied abroad at Colorado State University in the United States during the fall semester through our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). In the United States, there is an annual tryout to join the university, and three students participated in the selection for the Colorado State University baseball team, the Rams, along with American students, and were selected. The Rams were a strong team in the 2010 NCBA National Champions, and students participated in daily team practice after class and also played away games on weekends. *Please refer to the photo gallery for footage of the tryouts.

Outfielder: Ito Jukyo (1st year, from Shirakaba Gakuen High School)
Outfielder: Matsuno Shunta
(1st year student, graduate of Shonan Institute of Technology High School)

2009

In the fall semester of 2009, the following three students studied abroad at Colorado State University in the United States during the fall semester of our university's College of Arts and Sciences study abroad program (GO Program). In the United States, there is an annual selection to continue club activities, and three students took the selection for the Colorado State University baseball team, the Rams, along with American students, and were accepted. The Rams were a powerhouse team in the 2009 NCBA National Champions, and students participated in daily practice with the team after class and also played away games on weekends, providing an extremely valuable experience.

Infielder: Shohei Minato (from Kojo High School)
