| 授業概要 | This course provides first-year students with a foundation in the English language suitable for communication in a growing international community. It is designed to help develop students' confidence and fluency in Speaking and Listening, building upon their language base. Students will be placed in this level based upon performance on the J. F. Oberlin ELP Placement Exam. |
| 到達目標 | Improve fluency and be able to sustain pair conversations for several minutes about topics drawn from their daily life Improve listening skills Become skilled at using classroom language for clear understanding of classroom content, course tasks, and other responsibilities Learn how to join or start a conversation and become better at closing or finishing conversations Build organizational and study skills needed throughout university studies Become familiar with key vocabulary from the textbook and materials |
