Gustav Mahler Concert in remembrance of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau on May 18

The great singer Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau died on May 18, 2012. For the first anniversary of his death, J. F. Oberlin University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts is planning a concert of Gustav Mahler’s songs. Coincidentally, Gustav Mahler died on the same date as Fischer-Dieskau, in 1911.

All of the performers are J. F. Oberlin professors or instructors. Admission is free, and everybody is welcome.
