J. F. Oberlin University Choir to hold summer concert to benefit Kumamoto earthquake victims on July 9

The J. F. Oberlin University Choir will hold its annual summer concert on Saturday, July 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in M201, the music hall of Itokukan on Machida Campus, which boasts excellent acoustics and a Fazioli piano. In addition to choral singing, there will be solos by students selected during auditions. The choir will be conducted by Professor Masako Yokoyama, and Sakie Kobayashi, a third-year student in the College of Performing and Visual Arts, will play the piano. Please come and listen to an evening of fine music.

Please note that the hall has only 100 seats, and seating will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Also, parking will not be available, so please use public transportation or the school buses which run between Machida Campus and both Fuchinobe and Tama Center stations.
