Café in Keikando to support Great East Japan Earthquake victims

Three years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, but the earthquake victims still need support. To help ensure that the affected people and areas are not forgotten, J. F. Oberlin University students will operate a café called “Bramble” in the basement of Keikando chapel, on Machida Campus. The café will be in operation on the dates listed below, from 11:00 to 15:00 each day. The café will offer free tea, coffee, and sweets made with ingredients from the affected areas of northeast Japan. Charitable donations will be accepted.

The café will be operated by students from the Service Learning Center and the Christian Education Center, as well as other volunteers.
