Textbook "Pathway to Peace—for building a culture of peace"

J. F. Oberlin University has published a textbook on disarmament under the auspices of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). Titled “Pathway to Peace—for building a culture of peace,” this book includes interviews with three Nobel Peace Prize laureates: Joseph Rotblat, Bernard Lown, and Jody Williams. All material in the book is included in both Japanese and English. This is one of J. F. Oberlin's activities as a global hub for the UNAI principle of spreading the UN charter's spirit through the educational institutions of the world.

Toyoshi Satow, Chancellor of J. F. Oberlin University, says in the book, "It is our hope that this textbook will be used in many countries as a tool for global learning to motivate the youth of the next generation to work and live together peacefully as international citizens." For educational purposes, copyright is free.

UNAI is a program of the Outreach Division of the Department of Public Information at the United Nations. It is open to all institutions of higher education granting degrees or their equivalent as well as to bodies whose substantive responsibilities relate to the conduct of research.
