J. F. Oberlin’s songleading team, Cream, took part in the International Cheer Union’s Asia Open Cheerleading Championship at the Yoyogi Second Gymnasium in Tokyo on September 22nd and 23rd. Held for the first time this year, this high-level competition attracted the best of the best: 90 teams from 11 Asian countries. Fresh from their April win in the World Championships in the U. S. A., Cream put in a dazzling performance and walked away with first prize in the Cheer Jazz Team division.
