| In the Ph.D. Major in International Humanities and Social Sciences, we look for researchers in the humanities and social sciences with an international outlook who can carry out independent research activities. We also seek students whose goal is to train others to have the full knowledge that is necessary to do high level, specialized research. | ||
| Major in Gerontology | ||
In the Ph.D. Major in Gerontology, we aim to train specialists who can conduct independent, interdisciplinary research in gerontology that spans the range from basic to applied research. After acquiring a breadth and depth of knowledge and appropriate research methodologies, students receive their Ph.D. (in Gerontology). It is our hope that they will set their sights high in addressing the many problems of an aging society through education, research, and a high level of practical applied activities. |
